Playing around with my camera

I get so fascinated with some of the sights and scenes of nature. I feel like they are tender mercies sent from our Heavenly Father to me so I can taken in the beauty that He has created. These pictures are VERY amateur, but I am hoping with time and with help from George I can improve... So enjoy the beauty!

OOPS!! Some of these pictures are from my old camera. Same difference thought right?? Still me shooting the pics...

Thanksgiving 08

Well, we had a great Thanksgiving this year. The boys and I traveled down to Austin to be with George for the week. We were able to spend Thanksgiving Day with George's aunt and uncle and their family at their home in San Antonio. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my entire life! I am sure I left there with abs of steel!

The boys were in heaven because they had about 4 different gaming systems, and I am sure they played every one of them. We kind of left them in the care of their older cousin (26 yrs.old), who evidently still loves games!

George and I and the rest of the family were in heaven because we got to watch the Dallas Cowboy game on a NICE big screen tv.. It was a blast!

Halloween 2008

I know that I am ions late on these Halloween pictures, but they were kind of my "practice" for doing a slideshow.. Gobs of thanks to you Jenni, for helping me with the slideshow, music and so much more!!!!

We decided to go the homemade route this year. Logan was a "cereal" killer, Andrew was Alvin from the Chipmunks and Jeremy was a mummy

The Beginning

Well, believe it or not, George is the one that wanted to get one of these going. He saw some others and thought we should do it also, so here goes!!! (This also gives me an excuse to have a spot to post pictures since our Christmas gift to each other was a camera!)

The Beginning, hum.. We began our Robertson clan 15 1/2 years ago. (it seems like only yesterday!) Now with 3 of the best boys, we truly try to enjoy each day because we have been so richly blessed. Let me share a little about everyone.

George is keeping super busy lately with commuting back and forth from Austin, where he now works. He loves the area but wishes we were there on a full time basis to enjoy it with him. (so do we!)

Logan is enjoying middle school and making excellent grades, we are very proud of him. He keeps himself busy with band and with soccer, although the soccer season is done for now. He soon turns 14, which he can hardly wait for!!

Andrew is 11 and in the 4th grade, also making excellent grades in school. He must get it from his dad! He is really excited about soccer season in the spring because he is itching to play!

Our youngest, Jeremy, is soon to be 9 (going on 19) and in the 3rd grade. He also inherited the smart gene from his dad. Jeremy experimented with baseball this past fall, and liked it but I am not sure if he wants to pursue it.

Me, well, I am just being mom. Taking care of the family. I also love to run, so I am trying to truly get back in the swing of doing that. My goal for the new year is to run more 5ks. My ultimate goal is to someday do a marathon!

Well, that's us.. Now, if you like, go and enjoy the rest of the blog!!!

Ya'll come back now ya here!!
